Trae Hunjak - Camp Director

Trae Hunjak

Trae is currently playing in the NAIA Division 1 College Soccer program for Mid America Nazarene University (MNU).  Previously, he played two years of collegiate soccer for Johnson County Community College (JCCC).  In both of those seasons, he was the leading goal scorer and points leader for his team.  In the 2015 season at JCCC, Trae made the “First All Team Conference Team”.  In both 2014 and 2015, he was selected the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) men’s soccer Division I Player of the Week.

In the summer of 2015, Trae played in the Semi-Pro National Premier Soccer League, for FC Wichita Club.  The roster was made up of many professional and collegiate soccer players.  Trae helped FC Wichita win their first ever Conference Championship in the club’s inaugural season.

Trae grew up playing at the highest level of youth club soccer in Overland Park. He played for KCFC, Blue Valley Soccer Club, and KC United. In 2012, Trae helped his team win the State Cup with KCFC, where they also played in the “National Regional Tournament”. 

Trae is currently in his third year as a coach with FC Kansas City. Trae enjoys coaching children of all ages and also teaching them about the love of Jesus Christ.  His passion for soccer and his leadership qualities gave him the opportunity to coach soccer for the past 9 years for his family’s ministry camps called “Victory Soccer Camp”. Trae has had the opportunity to coach over 8,000 children at these camps.  His understanding of the game, positive attitude, and love for children has inspired many of them to love and improve their game.
